I cannot hear sounds from myspace,youtube,tmobile,etc... but i can hear on my media players!whats wrong?

I can hear music when played on windows media player and itunes but when music has to be streamed like on myspace for profile songs and you tube and comcast (the fan news player) it does not play. Do i need to reinstall something? please help!

my internet explorer is set to play web page media.

Are you connecting to the internet via dial-up? Streaming does not work with anything less than DSL. What version of IE are you using?
